Introduction
iohyve is a bhyve manager for FreeBSD, similar to iocage.
Prerequisites
Recent enough FreeBSD with ZFS. All commands below run as root.
Install
pkg install iohyve pkg install grub2-bhyve # For non-FreeBSD guests
Configure
iohyve setup pool=tank1 kmod=1 net=bge0
Adjust ZFS pool and NIC as needed.
Add to rc.conf:
iohyve_enable="YES" iohyve_flags="kmod=1 net=bge0"
